Kathie Lee Gifford hosted the 4th hour on TODAY along with Hoda Kotb from 2008 until April 5, 2019. Entertainment Weekly lauded the Gifford and Kotb show as "appointment to watch television" and USA Today called it TODAY's Happy Hour. Gifford penned TODAY The Musical, a highly-acclaimed musical with hosts and staff of the program. Every month Gifford would write a new tune to be included on the cult Everyone Has a Story segment. In 2015, she was inducted into the Broadcast & Cable Hall of Fame in 2015. Gifford spent 15 years as a host of Live with Regis & Kathie and was awarded 11 Emmy Awards.
